I'm really not a Thai food eater but I tried this place and was impressed. I really enjoyed the service and the food was flavorful. There was plenty to order and plenty of food we ended up taking home for the next day.

for some reasons there aren't a lot of authentic thai restaurants in santa cruz. sabieng thai, however, seems to be one of the very few places in the city that serves curry that's NOT watered down (i believe there might be another place as well, but i have yet to find another). although the portions are a bit small for the price, this is probably the best place you're gonna find great curry.

The food here is quality-- lots of fresh veggies and options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The lunch special here is amazing-- six bucks includes soup. More food than you can eat in one sitting!
