I was very intrigued to find a spa at Chaminade. I thought hey its free! My company paid for it. What I found was a caring staff with an attention to detail. The nice lady who attended me no only massaged away stress. But she also brought me a snack and a drink! I felt so special! Wow the little things really count! I will certainly come again!

I have been here several times with 2 different companies. The facitilities are excellent for off site meetings and conferences and the services provide an opportunity to unwind and relax after a full day of meetings. I view this more of a business destination rather than a personal destination.

I would say this spa is just okay for the price. Santa Cruz is a gorgeous city and the Chaminade gives you an already tranguil feeling. The prices were very high. I would suggest it if you are looking for the ultimate vacation but not necessary for the price.

Pricer than most of the other spas surrounding Santa Cruz, this one actually can charge you without you feeling completely gyped in the end. They take excellent care of you and provide you with an amazing spa experience. I highly recommend their massages and body wraps.

Chaminade is the nicest hotel in the city of Santa Cruz. It's a great getaway, but be forwarned the road leading up to it is steep and remote, so there's really no entertainment options within walking distance. The city buses certainly don't come up there either, so to get anywhere plan on driving or calling a cab.

Chaminade is basically a resort, so it's also not the place for visiting parents of college students (unless you don't really want to do all that visiting) or for young children.

Go there for tennis, swimming, beautiful views and R&R.
